Your infrastructure, not ours

The AI runs in your own cloud account. Client documents never touch our servers — we don't have any in the data path.

A curated catalog, configured for you

Ten skills chosen for solo and small-firm practice, preloaded and set up — your templates in, working drafts out, from the first session.

You stay the lawyer

Every output is a draft for attorney review, with citation checks built in. The judgment — and the signature — stays yours.

Why this, why now

No testimonials yet — we won't invent any. Here's what's verifiable instead.

of legal professionals already use AI in their work. The gap between dabbling and workflow is the product.

Clio, 2025 Legal Trends Report
Feb 2026

A federal court held dozens of AI-drafted documents not privileged — the consumer AI terms they were made under decided it. Architecture and terms now matter.

I watched a paralegal at a financial-services firm use Claude to draft and rewrite thousands of documents in a single month — real work product, attorney-reviewed, at a volume no per-document tool could touch. Meanwhile the software sold to lawyers runs $499 a seat and up, and still holds your client files on someone else's servers. Legal Skills HQ is the version I'd want as a client: the production line preconfigured, running in your own cloud, where we never touch your documents at all.

03

Draft your first document

Same session. A working draft out, ready for your review — not a demo, the real thing.

Your client files never leave your control

Every other legal AI tool asks you to trust that they won't misuse your client data. We built it so we can't — because your documents never reach us. The AI runs in a private workspace in your own cloud account.

YouYour files, on your machine and your box.
Your private boxRuns in your own cloud account. We have no server in this path.
Anthropic (Claude)Under your own account, on no-training terms.

No middleman

There is no Legal Skills HQ server that ever sees a client document. We couldn't leak it if we were breached — we never have it.

Legal Mode, not an afterthought

Verifying no-training terms is a required setup step, checked before your first real matter — not a settings page you might miss.

Your credentials stay yours

Nothing you type is used to train a model or shared with a third party.

Carrier-ready paperwork

Comes with what your malpractice carrier now asks for: an AI-use policy, tool inventory, and data-flow diagram.

Not ready yet? Take the privilege self-audit.

In February 2026 a federal court held dozens of AI-drafted documents not privileged — because of the terms they were produced under. Ten questions tell you whether your practice has the same exposure. Free, printable, and it comes with the AI-use policy skeleton, engagement-letter language, and the prep list for your malpractice carrier's AI questionnaire.

The audit opens immediately. One follow-up email when the founding cohort opens — nothing else. Want the background first? Read Is Claude confidential for lawyers? What the February 2026 privilege decision changed.

Frequently asked questions

Is this legal advice?

No. Legal Skills HQ is a productivity tool for licensed attorneys. It does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney–client relationship, and is not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed attorney. Every output is a draft for your review.

Does the AI train on my client documents?

Not under Legal Mode. Legal Mode makes verifying no-training terms a required setup step before you touch a real matter — either a commercial API key, which excludes training by contract, or a verified subscription opt-out.

Where does my data actually go?

Your files stay on your machine and your own private cloud box. The AI runs there, talking directly to Anthropic under your own account and terms. There is no Legal Skills HQ server in that path — we can't see a client document because we never have it.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Setup is a short screen-shared session where we configure everything — your templates, your playbook, Legal Mode — so your first document is ready in that same session.

Can I use my firm's own templates and playbook?

Yes — that's the point. Your templates and firm-specific positions go in during setup; the catalog drafts and reviews against your standard, not a generic one.

What does it cost after the founding period?

Founding members lock $29 a month for life, with the full catalog free during early access. Pricing beyond the founding cohort hasn't been announced.
