LEGAL SKILLS HQ
For solo attorneys & small firms

The AI that never invents a citation.

Governed AI for drafting, research, and litigation support — where every output is cited, checked against the record, and signed by you. Put AI to work without inheriting its mistakes. It runs in your own cloud; we never see a client document.

The AI risk that ends careers is a made-up case.

Courts have sanctioned lawyers for briefs built on citations the AI invented — cases that never existed, holdings that were never held. It is the one AI mistake a court will not forgive, and the one a busy solo is most likely to miss.

So we built the product around removing it. A separate reviewer checks every cited authority against the source it should rest on, and holds anything it can't verify — shown to you, never quietly left in. Unverified authority is never passed off as confirmed.

How a cite clears the gate

1

An agent drafts the memo and cites its authorities. Fast, thorough — and, on its own, fallible.

2

A separate reviewer checks each authority against its source. Different engine, one job: is it grounded, and does it say what's claimed?

3

Unverifiable cites are blocked and listed, never hidden. You get a verified-authority table and a could-not-verify list.

4

You read, decide, and sign. The judgment stays yours; the receipt is on file.

Three governed packs, one focused practice.

Each pack does the work, checks the consequential parts against the record, and hands you a draft to sign — never a black box.

Flagship

Litigation Support

Deposition and record summaries, indexed by legal element with page:line cites; privilege-waiver audits.

Removes the risk of a summary claim that isn't in the record — or a missed privilege waiver. Every claim resolves to a real page:line, or it's held for you. This is where "never invents a citation" is literally checked, line by line.
Pack

Legal Drafting

Demand letters, discovery, and correspondence, drafted from your templates and playbook. Tracked-changes out.

Removes the risk of an invented fact in a filing. A fact-provenance ledger traces every asserted fact to your matter file; the reviewer fails any draft with an unmarked one.
Pack

Legal Research

Issue in, a cited memo out — with a checked-authority table and a could-not-verify list.

Removes the risk of a fabricated citation. No authority ships unverified — every cited authority is checked, and anything it can't verify against a source is flagged and held for you, never passed off as confirmed.

How it works

No IT department, no procurement. From a cold start to a working, checked draft in one sitting.

01

We set up your workspace

A short screen-shared session: a private AI workspace in your own cloud, no-training terms verified, your templates and playbook wired in.

02

The packs do the work

Draft, research, summarize — and the reviewer checks anything consequential against the record before it reaches you.

03

You read, sign, and file

A verified draft out, with its citations checked and its facts traced. The judgment — and the signature — stays yours.

Your box works with the tools you already pay for.

Your workspace isn't a walled garden. It connects to the services you already subscribe to — using your own credentials, inside your own cloud — through the same connector and MCP standards Claude already speaks. No ready connector for something you use? We wire it in during setup. "We don't integrate with that" is not an answer you'll get from us.

The research tools you subscribe to

Connect Westlaw, Lexis, or a citator you already pay for, and open-research citations are checked against the source you've wired in — not just against your own files.

Your case and document systems

Your practice-management or document system, PACER, your firm email — the box works from what you already run, so a draft starts from your matter, not a blank page.

Any tool with a way in — any vertical

If it has an API, a connector, or an MCP server — which is nearly everything now — your box can use it. Legal is where we start; the plumbing was never legal-specific.

Your credentials stay yours

Every connection lives in your workspace, authorized with your own logins. We wire it and step back — nothing routes through a Legal Skills HQ server, because there isn't one.

Your client files never leave your control.

Every other legal AI asks you to trust that it won't misuse your client data. We built it so we can't — your documents never reach us. The AI runs in a private workspace in your own cloud account.

Your private workspaceRuns in your own cloud account. We have no server in this path.
Anthropic (Claude)Under your own account, on no-training terms.

No middleman

There is no Legal Skills HQ server that ever sees a client document. We couldn't leak it if we were breached — we never have it.

No-training terms, verified at setup

Confirming your terms exclude training is a required setup step, checked before your first real matter — not a settings page you might miss.

You sign every output

Every consequential action is a draft for attorney review, with its citations checked. The judgment and the signature stay yours.

Carrier-ready paperwork

Many malpractice carriers now ask at renewal whether you have a written AI-use policy and which AI tools you use. You get both — plus a plain-language data-flow diagram of where your files go.

One firm, one price.

Flat monthly — no per-seat metering, no per-document fees. Solo lands near what a single Westlaw + Lexis seat costs you today; the difference is that this one drafts, researches, and checks. Concierge setup is included, and you pay your own cloud provider directly — usually a few dollars a month.

Frequently asked questions

Is this legal advice?

No. Legal Skills HQ is a productivity tool for licensed attorneys. It does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney–client relationship, and is not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed attorney. Every output is a draft for your review, and you sign it.

How do you keep the AI from inventing citations?

A separate reviewer checks every cited authority and holds anything it can't verify against a source — listed for you, never quietly included. For work grounded in your own documents (deposition summaries, drafts from your files), it confirms each cite resolves to the record. For open research, it checks each authority against the research services you've connected — Westlaw, Lexis, or a citator, if you've wired them in — and flags anything it still can't ground, so nothing unverified is passed off as confirmed. You remain responsible for confirming current validity before you file.

Can it connect to Westlaw, Lexis, or my case-management system?

Yes. Your box runs on the same connector and MCP standards Claude already uses, so it works with the tools you already subscribe to — authorized with your own credentials, inside your own workspace. Connect your research service and citations are checked against it; connect your document or case system and drafts start from your matter. If something you use doesn't have a ready connector, we wire it up during setup — you won't hear "we don't integrate with that" from us.

Does the AI train on my client documents?

No. Verifying no-training terms is a required setup step before your first real matter — either a commercial API key, which excludes training by contract, or a verified subscription opt-out.

Where does my data actually go?

Your files stay on your machine and your own private cloud workspace. The AI runs there, talking directly to Anthropic under your own account and terms. There is no Legal Skills HQ server in that path — we can't see a client document because we never have it.

What does it cost?

Solo is $500 a month for one attorney; Firm is $1,500 a month for a practice of two to twenty. Both include concierge setup, all three governed packs, and the citation-integrity reviewer. You pay your own cloud provider directly, typically a few dollars a month.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Setup is a short screen-shared session where we configure everything — your templates, your playbook, your no-training terms — so your first checked document is ready in that same session.

Book your setup.

Ten minutes, screen-shared: your private workspace stood up in your own cloud, your templates wired in, and your first real matter drafted and checked before we hang up. Setup is hands-on and personal, so we take just a couple of new firms a day. Prefer to talk it through first? This is that conversation.
